Tenri Pre-Primary School is a high standard centre for early childhood education. Basically, the facility meets and even exceeds the requird standard of a pre-primary school.
Apparently, Tenri Primary School is the best pre-primary in the whole northern region, a preschool whereby teachers are extremely passionate, creative, flexible and more importantly, possess a high level of enthusiasm for early childhood learners.
Our pre-primary is basically Montessori and blends the system with Competency Based Curriculum which is the current education system in Kenya. Actually we focus on holistic formation of a child bringing out the best for the child to fit in grade one.
Our curriculum is age sensitive accommodating children from ages 3 to 6 years, there is a play group (3 and 4 years), pre-primary one (4 and 5 years), pre-primary two (5 and 6 years). Children are exposed to various fields of learning, phonetic awareness and blending sounds to make words and others.
In addition, they are exposed to other activities like psychomotor, Religious, social and science activities. Our main language of communication is English and children are also exposed to other activities like swimming, Japanese language and many others.
