We are absolutely thrilled and deeply honored to announce that Tenri School Embu has emerged victorious at the 2026 Kenya National Drama and Film Festival (KNDFF)! 🎭🏆
Our talented primary and junior secondary students took to the national stage with their captivating play, "Garden of Eden," winning the prestigious Communications Authority of Kenya (CAK) Award for the "Best Item on Protecting Your Online Identity." 🥇💻
This achievement is particularly special because it reflects our students' real-world growth. Earlier this year, our school community witnessed an incredible wave of student-led digital engagement during our student council elections. Seeing our learners express their visions with such passion—and witnessing their voices reach a wider audience online—was a powerful reminder of how our students are embracing the digital age.
However, this experience also became a profound educational journey. By navigating the "digital spotlight," our students learned firsthand about the importance of responsibility, privacy, and building a positive online footprint. Our play, "Garden of Eden," was born from these genuine experiences—transforming the excitement of digital expression into a vital lesson on how to stay safe, secure, and smart in an interconnected world.
This success is a testament to the holistic education we provide at Tenri. By blending the Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC) with modern digital citizenship, we are ensuring our learners are not just spectators of the digital age, but responsible leaders within it.
To our amazing students: You have shown the world that you are not only brilliant performers but also thoughtful digital citizens. You are our national ambassadors for online safety!
To our parents: Thank you for your continued trust. Together, we are nurturing leaders who are brave enough to speak up and wise enough to protect their future. 🌍✨
Let us celebrate this incredible milestone together!
